India has dropped 11 places to rank 161 in the RSF report .
Media organizations of the country expressed concern
New Delhi. The country's media organizations have expressed concern over India falling 11 places to 161st position in the World Press Freedom Index-2023 published on Wednesday. Reporters Without Borders (RSF), a global media watchdog, publishes an annual report on press freedom in countries around the world. Last year, RSF ranked India 150th in a survey of 180 countries.
The RSF report says the situation has gone from problematic to worse in three countries
