How Friction Shapes Fabric Feel
Friction is the phenomenon in which two object surfaces come into contact and move relative to each other under external force, generating tangential resistance at the contact interface. This tangential resistance is friction force, and its magnitude depends on the characteristics of the object surfaces. It is one of the classical mechanical properties.
